Tonight I went to a TAFA friends sweet sixteen, the theme was dress to your favorite era.
I was a hippie :)

I don't know why but I just did something on here and now my letters are all messed up. Oh well, I guess I will have to deal with it...
I went with my friend K, who came back to TAFA this year. Yeah!!!! I missed her a lot and I was really sad when she left for a year. I am making her try out for a choir next year that we can be in together :)
She was a hippie like me, though I was a little more over dressed....

Ah! They are normal again!!!! I met L tonight, she is really sweet and funny and I like her a lot.

It was a little hard joining in the conversations and cliques at first, but I got to know a couple new people in the end, I had a blast :)

All gone....

Ever since a year or two ago I have felt the need to have something on my door. Clippings from magazines, pictures of me and my pals, guys I will one day convert, make go on a mission, and marry in the Hawaii Temple.... They are all gone now. I have to paint my walls, paint the wood work, paint my bed frame..... and replace my door!!!!! :(
Dive N' Surf is having a sale this month, and Dad just HAD to go check out the great deals on the awsome wet suits so we headed out to CA on Sunday.
Dad and I got great wet suits, and the very next day we tried them out in the water. Yep. We surfed in February. Well, if you call surfing not catching a single wave but being pummeled by them over and over and over, then yea... I surfed!
My favorite day was our last one there. Dad and I surfed, went to Tommy's, and drove around for hours; stopping and looking at whatever caught our interest.
We stopped by a dock full of fishing boats. Talked to a couple of nice guys about what they do.
Stopped by …

Remember this post???

I sucked super bad, I knew almost no geography.

I have gotten better!!! And I wish I had more than five minutes!!!

What I did this weekend..

Nothing especially striking happened this week, but I need to update...
I spent time with Caroline and JDogg, and little Davy, while Madre and Scoutmaster were in Barthelona :)
Read and watched the Golden Compass. I didn't like it.
Read The Alchemist. Good.
Started Inkdeath. Can't wait till it's finished...
I watched seven hours of action packed gun fighting, car chases, and martial arts, and Matt Damon. Listened to "how did he do that, its so unrealistic!?" then "it's Jason Bourne, he can do anything."
Then watched two hours of Bear eating sea cucumbers, maggots, and other disgusting insects and animals. Listened to compare/contrast between Bear Grylls and Jason Bourne...
THEN I watched Me, You, and Dupree. Very funny.
Meanwhile I stuffed my face with Flamin' Hot Cheetos, Dr. Thunder, Pizza, and Girl Scout Cookies.
Played the organ pretty well this Sunday. A nice change :) Watched City of Ember after church. Its a pretty good movie! I suggest it.
